All sorts of stories could be heard here; who \u2018fixed\u2019 a job for whom, who was having an affair with whom and so on&#8230; Intriguing news was exchanged and jokes were made at the expense of others. It was the place where citizens of all strata and professions got their shave and haircut. This social aspect of connectedness and interaction among all members of the community was important. Today, these old barbershops have almost no business at all.
