The red curtains were creating a constant play of light and colours on the wooden surface of the table. I gazed unfocusedly at the rays of light falling on the lacquered surface into hundreds of tiny red-gold balls, carrying me away to some nostalgic, almost kaleidoscopic memories. In my childhood, I was overtaken with joy as soon as I set my foot on its steps and proudly entered the fragrant world of sweets. The mosaic floor reminded me of the brilliantly designed sleeve of the album, \u201cThe Defense and the Last Days,\u201d by the Yugoslav new wave band Idoli.
