He is overwhelmed by a feeling of powerlessness; emotions vivid on his angst-ridden face. As if he slowly comes to understand the reasons behind the havoc. Through a painful attempt at questioning his own role, he reflects on the imperfection of all efforts, on mistakes and failures. How could he have been so naive as to blindly believe in false promises? How could he have been so passive as to allow those few in power to do that to him?
